Under Construction
Some dead-ends in my WordPress theme-hacking attempts left me with one that almost works but misses some crucial post navigation links, which has put me off posting here for a few weeks. (That, and starting a new semester and a new course.) I’ll keep trying, but in the meantime might switch this back to a boring default for a while.
Getting there. I now have comments on posts displaying properly, if not the comments form itself, and the page titles look right. The archives page now incorporates the most recent months of the blog as well. Previous/next post navigation links still to come.

And now there are changing sidebar images for each month. The comments form looks better, too.

The navigation links to previous and next entries now work, and entries show links to category archives. Still to come: links from archive and index pages to comments, links to older posts at the bottom of the main index page, and implementation of “more inside”.

All done now. The look and functionality is very slightly different in a few respects, but it’s as close as I can get without some industrial-strength hacking and time-suckage.
