A Candle for Notre Dame

The awful news of the fire at Notre Dame last night has been made a little more bearable today by the realisation that the damage wasn’t as total as feared, although it was still terrible and will take years to repair.
I last saw the cathedral up close almost fifteen years ago. The galleries I posted at that time had only one or two photos of it, but I took more on J.’s old Canon Ixus and my old Nikkormat. I’ve gone back to them today to put together a gallery of Notre Dame as it was, in memoriam of one of the treasures of the world.
