squirrel photo

found by j.e.

Found in the Black Medicine café, Edinburgh, December 2001. A discarded Fujifilm Instax print that says something significant about the photographer: they're almost certainly Antipodean. Only Southern tourists to the Northern hemisphere consider squirrels worth photographing, and the first time we see one we go crazy with the shutter release. That this imperfect shot was discarded suggests the existence of multiple better ones, all destined for a photo album down under.
